How to install Pacedex
Recommended: via the Microsoft Store it's 3 steps with zero Windows warnings. Prefer the direct installer (.exe)? The full path is right below.
Prefer direct? Get the installer (.exe) — that path is at the end of the page.
Let the assistant turn on telemetry
On first run, Pacedex opens the connection assistant: if F1 is on this PC, it switches the game's telemetry on in 1 click; if you play on PlayStation/Xbox, it shows exactly what to enter on the console. (You can also do it manually in the game: Settings → Telemetry → UDP Telemetry on, port 20777.)
Hit the track and race! 🏎️
The dashboard opens in Pacedex's own window (PD icon on the taskbar). Jump into a session in the game: the assistant tells you the moment the first data arrives, and the overlay appears over the game by itself.

Works just as well — there's just one extra Windows warning along the way. Three steps; after installing, steps 2 and 3 above apply the same.
Download the installer
On pacedex.com, click Download free · Windows. The file Pacedex-Setup.exe lands in your Downloads folder.
Windows may block it — that's normal
a) If your browser warns the download is dangerous, click the ⋯ next to the file and choose Keep.
b) If you see the blue "Windows protected your PC" screen, click More info, then Run anyway.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.
